  • I cannot sync between devices!

Do you have the same isoTimer account installed on both devices (Settings > Sync > isoTimer)? Please mind that in order to sync Google events, you need to have the same Google account installed on both devices (Android System Settings > Accounts > Google). Also, make sure that in the isoTimer app settings > Calendar > (very bottom) you have selected 'Use calendars of the Android system'. Please also check your Internet connection and check if your device clock is in sync with the atomic clock: http://time.is/. If you still have problems, please try to uncheck and then check again isoTimer sync on both devices (Settings > Sync > isoTimer).

    I cannot add events!

Please make sure that you have the latest update and that your calendars are set to visible at Menu > Calendars. Please also ensure that you have selected the correct default calendar in the Settings > Calendar and that you are not adding your events to a special calendar (e.g. Holidays). If all this doesn't solve the problem, there might be a problem with the calendar provider of the Android system. In this case, please clear the cache of Google Calendar app, power off the device and restart it. If still unsuccessful, go to the Android System Settings > Accounts and uninstall your Google account. After that, install your Google account again. Power off and restart your device. This should solve the problem.

My events vanish after adding them!

Please make sure that a) an account is installed on your device (Google or isoTimer) b) the calendar is set to visible c) the calendar is no special calendar (e.g. Holidays) and d) if problem not solved: empty the cache of the Google Calendar app and resync / restart device. How do I best work with the task list?

The isoTimer app is structured in a way that forces you to focus on the important. That is why there is only a 'Today' tab where all your tasks land. The 'Today' tab is the actual 'Inbox'. You will want to keep the number of tasks in the 'Today' tab as low as possible. Only the most important tasks should be kept there. To become an effective time manager, this is the only thing you need to know: keep the number of tasks in the 'Today' tab low, the unimportant tasks should be postponed, set inactive or deleted.
